Diagnoses #4,785-4,793

Okay, so my diagnoses don't number in the thousands, or even the hundreds, but I do have nine new ones that make it feel like that many. I had allergy testing done on Thursday, and, just in time for Valentine's Day, I found out that I am highly allergic to grass, ragweed, dust, wheat, corn, cane sugar, and yeast; and that I am only mildly allergic to milk and eggs. Now I get to add allergy shots and allergy drops to my already extensive pharmaceutical repertoire, although my doctor says that I should feel significantly better if I just avoid all those things altogether. And this was not even an extensive panel that they did on me; there are still several other foods that I could be allergic to that I haven't been tested for yet. (I figured I could only handle so much shock at one time. I'll wait a few months before doing any more testing.)

Meanwhile, my ATP level is running back down at 50%, when it was up to 70% a few months ago.

Anyone want to volunteer to be my personal chef, or my medication manager, or my massage therapist?

Ruin Your Health with the Obama Stimulus Plan

See the article by clicking on the title of this post. And then write your Representatives and Senators and demand that they scrap this before its too late. And if this passes, expect my quality of life to drop significantly and my life span to be shortened (and probably yours, too).

What I have in common with my local ER doctor

It made me feel a lot better today when the ER doctor told me that his kid, too, had gotten his fingers smashed in the car door under his watch. Thankfully, Rebecca has no broken bones, not even any bleeding, and returned to her cheerful self a few hours later; but boy, was it scary for Mommy! I'm not up to relaying the details right now, but maybe one day I will.
