Two and five months

The milestones after walking and talking and memorizing Bible verses don't seem to be quite as significant, but I have noticed little things in the last month or two that Rebecca has started doing for the first time. Here are some that come to mind:

-Singing (at least in rhythm, if not on pitch)
-Reading a series of letters and then asking, "What does that spell?"
-Pronouncing the second "l" in a consonant blend, whereas before, it was omitted (please, blanket, flower)
-Talking repeatedly about various meaningful (to her) events in the past
-Initiating prayer at various times ("Want to talk to Jesus about...")
-Run-on sentences getting longer and longer
-Requesting to go see various people or places
-Saying "Rebecca is so cute!" at random times
-Saying "Gig 'em, Aggies! Whoop!" (and an opposing phrase, taught by Uncle David)
-Drawing a circle, an "I", or a "V" and identifying it as such
-catching a ball (as of yesterday)
-swinging in a big-girl swing (one without a back)
-saying "no"much more frequently :(
-saying "thank you" without having to be prompted :)
Thanks to Miss Shirley for the pictures she took when we stayed with her last week!
