What I have in common with my local ER doctor

It made me feel a lot better today when the ER doctor told me that his kid, too, had gotten his fingers smashed in the car door under his watch. Thankfully, Rebecca has no broken bones, not even any bleeding, and returned to her cheerful self a few hours later; but boy, was it scary for Mommy! I'm not up to relaying the details right now, but maybe one day I will.
