In one month's time, she has gone from maybe 15 words to about 75, and continues to add at least one a day.  Many of her words are letters, numbers, animals and the sounds they make, and names of people. As far as we know, his job responsibilities and salary/benefits will not be affected in any way, except that he will have to go to Albany, NY in a few weeks with some of his coworkers for a tour of a GE research center. It's going too fast!!! And *she* is starting to go too fast, as in moving very quickly on the floor...which is why we gave her this Christmas present early (more like a present to me, since it keeps her happily contained, although I try not to keep her in there too long). I got this Baby Einstein activity center for a good price online.
